Bird! Yeah! Yeah! YEAH! C'mon you know the words!
Mockingbird (the official bird of the great state of Texas) taken at the main parking lot at South Texas College. Most days I have about an hour to kill, so I pass the time by hanging out in my car listening to news talk radio, and watching the birds come and go on the fence I always park behind at the end of the lot. I just happened to take my camera that day.
McAllen, Tx (and all the Rio Grande Valley) is renowned over the world as a great bird watching site. These little guys are common though. You might not see them sometimes you can hear them. They're called mocking birds for a reason!
